Happy Tuesday Blog Readers.....Friends, Family and told strangers alike. Its Monday of a two and a half day school week. We get to have a holiday long weekend As will as a break for all things work related at all.I get to hang out with my favorite aunt and eat Turkey nothing is better. Okay, I'd rather hide in the office and write and role-play.
Maybe even celebrate the most likely week of birth starting today and running through the first week. My happy dog is 10 years old. Boulder will get turkey and other such treats as he has for all the Thanksgiving's past. After this meany years I know how much he loves to be spoiled to death. Lets started the party in his honor today.. Hopefully I can post a baby picture at some-point this week of my awesome dog.
When I was 6 years old I met my best pal for the first time. Our neighbor and her granddaughter where driving over Boulder Pass. It was cold, freezing cold, minus 30 cold. The granddaughter saw the box and wanted to burn it. On the way home they stopped to get it. In it where little blue fluff-ball's Boulder and his litter-mates. Who would do such a thing to a litter of healthy puppies? I'm just glad they all where okay. They brought them back to neighbor's house. My dad went down there.. My dad never says no to a baby animal. He brought Boulder home for me. He was a tiny most likely about three week old puppy that needed a girl as much as I needed a dog. Each and everyone of those puppies found a forever family. That's just how it started.
Boulder has become my best friend. With every day he sleeps on my bed that bond grows. A girl and her dog. Boulder is my 4-H project. A fair for every year his been mine minus two plus two. He loves me more than anything else in the world. I can't image not having my super awesome dog around all the time. He is my best friend and the best dog I could ever ask for.. I'll most likely tell more Boulder stories over the upcoming days. I'm so grateful for the people that brought this special dog into my life. Boulder is truely a one of a kind dog.
Thanks for reading,
Echo Out
